Our Story
Space Craft is a landscape architecture firm built by a leadership team that has been making spaces together for over twenty-five years.
In a world that has gotten very good at keeping people apart, we create places that put them back together. We call this craft. But for the people who encounter our spaces, it’s often just a feeling, a reason to linger, to breathe deeply or connect warmly. To return and bring someone else.
We’ve spent our careers learning this craft, fighting for it, and loving every minute of it — which, it turns out, matters too. Joy is not incidental to this work. It lives inside it.
Every space is someone’s story. We’re here to make sure it’s a good one.
Our Process
We begin each project by listening.
The desires of our clients, the aspirations of the community, and the unique qualities inherent in every site inform each step of the design engagement. Working as collaborators and the conscience of the site, we bring to bear our collective project experience and mastery of construction to create places that people love.
Our goal in each engagement is to provide exceptional service and expertise, while seeking enduring value for our clients, contemplating the resources necessary to build and maintain places of memory
