David Spillers’ extensive experience in Accounting and Office Management covers
periods as a management accountant with a textile firm and sixteen years with an
architectural firm. David’sb current role a Space Craft includes Accounting, IT management,
and overall office management. “Working with architects, in particular landscape architects,
has brought a different perspective to what makes projects successful beyond the
dollars and cents of meeting construction budgets and capturing market share for
whatever the intent of the owner might have been at the beginning of the programming
process.” He observes Architects as a group bring a certain level of dedication and
forethought not required in many other professions (apologies to Engineers) and is
always humbled by the energy and creativity displayed by all of the team members.
Being an avid fan of Formula 1 as well as historical and modern aviation, he is an
acknowledged technology nerd. Having technology focus is a definite advantage,
allowing him to support the vast array of software applications and computer resources
utilized by the staff.
