Lakeview - Alpharetta, GA
Lakeview is a ±55-acre mixed-use development in Alpharetta, Georgia. Site Solutions was retained by master developer TPA Group to collaborate with Nelson Worldwide and the ownership team in creating the project’s master plan vision. The firm’s scope included the retail and mixed-use district, a 255-unit multifamily community, the corporate headquarters for Colonial Pipeline, and the planning and design of the project’s public realm and streetscapes.
Creating a highly walkable, connected community was a primary design objective. The landscape architecture focused on establishing strong pedestrian and bicycle connectivity throughout the development while coordinating with the City of Alpharetta to integrate the project with the Alpha Loop trail system.
The centerpiece of the development is a ±2-acre public park and lakeside amphitheater positioned at the terminus of the main boulevard overlooking an existing 10-acre lake. The park is designed as both a daily community gathering space and a flexible venue for larger public events. Gently curving walkways, expansive lawn areas, native plantings, and natural boulder outcroppings create a relaxed, park-like setting that encourages everyday use while seamlessly accommodating concerts, festivals, and community celebrations. The result is a vibrant civic destination that strengthens the identity of the development and connects residents, employees, and visitors to the surrounding landscape.
